HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

Wow! what an eventful weekend it was and it isn't even time to move yet. To all the fathers out there 'HAPPY FATHER'S DAY'. Carrie gave me the coolest gift anyone can get and she gave it early. Check out what I recieved on June 15th at 7:26 in the morning. She woke me up just to give it to me and on top of that made me drive thirty miles to actually cash in on the surprise. Actually not much of a surprise at all because we knew it was a girl, unless the pictures lied. Then of course the little bundle of joy looks just like the other three girls. Here's the pictures:
BABY EMMA LUCILLE DAVIS

It was quite the Father's day gift. She weighed 7lbs 6oz and measured 20 1/2 inches long. Very healthy and very cute! All the kids came and were there, but not in the delivery room, when she was born. I saw her first and got to cut the umbilical cord.

Yep! she resembles the others, but just like the others I'm sure she will be different in her own little way. As soon as the nurses got her cleaned a little and wrapped in clothes Carrie

held her next, but of course Mikaela had to be the first kid to hold her.

Connor asked to be next.

Aubrie had no other choice but to be patient.

Hannah didn't know any different and just wanted to touch her all over.

All the kids had to watch every move and didn't miss a twitch. They would (especially mommy Mikaela) report on what the nurses were doing to Emma and especially when they made her a little upset. Mikaela and Aubrie would tattle on the nurses.

The kids are very happy to invite her into the Davis Clan and do so with open arms.
Emma was very alert and eyes wide open for the first day and it's pretty much been all sleep since then. Every now and again she might sneak a peek but not to often. The Davis Clan is ready and willing to take on another fun and exciting personality. Here we are all smiles.
The kids all drew a special little poster and we got some pink balloons to decorate the front of the house with. Carrie was pretty surprised but not as much as Emma was. I think she loved it, she was so touched she didn't say anything "words could not do justice'.

We brought her home on Sunday and what a special Father's day it has been. She looks a little different now that some of the swelling has gone away and some of the bruising. She looks good in PINK. One more girl to add to Connor and Matt's harem.
